I've been passionately into photography for 33 years now and I've gone through lots of different cameras, buying and selling, trying to find what's right for me. I think I'm there where I want to be gear-wise.
In large-format I've got a 4x5 Speed Graphic for when I retire (soon) and have more time for photography.
I have several MF cameras: Hasselblad, Mamiya 6, Rolleicord, and Fujica GS645W that help earn me some photo income.
I went through a folding camera stage, unfortunately when the market was higher than it is now. Cameras that I paid 2 or more hundred dollars for are now worth $100. (Perkeo II)
I still have several Nikon SLR's but these sit on the shelf (except for the F4 which does the odd wedding) while I focus completely on my rangefinder cameras. I went through the fixed lens models: Canonet, Konica, Yashica, etc. but have sold those off and now have this interchangeable lens RF collection: M6, M3, M2, CL, IIIc, Canon 7, FED 2E, Kiev 4a, and Contax IIa. I love using the 50mm focal length the most so I have several variations: Summitar, col. Summicron, black rigid Summicron, Sonnar, Jupiter 8, and col. FED. Other focal lengths are a 25CV, 35 J12, 40 Rokkor, 90 Elmar, and 135 Hektor.
Paid photo assignments like weddings and portraits have financed my photography passion.
I used to be so bad that I couldn't pass on buying any camera that was a good deal. I've got several Pentax and Konica SLR's accummulated from garage sales. I'm over that now, but it still hurts to walk away from a good deal, but I know I don't need any more cameras.
