Here is my newly acquired Agimatic camera. It seems to work OK except the uncoupled rangefinder is not working. I can't see the r/f image in the viewfinder but, oddly enough, if I look through the r/f window on the front of the camera I can see through the r/f system and out through the eyepiece.

Rachel, I've never owned an Agimatic, how do you like them? Also, how many do you have?

Try and not look at the last picture - consider the first two. Notice any similarities? Ditto the next down One of course is a Paxette 11BL, the other an Agimatic - the one that replaced Rachels. One wonders if they dismantled a Paxette and just copied the lower body design, so near are they dimensionally. Having said that it is beautifully made and quite heavy (and I'm not saying that because it is British!) Interchangeable lens (well one other- an 80mm I think) Wind on by pushing the shutter lever down on the front - odd, but effective. Please excuse pictures, just taken by flash to illustrate this (takes far too long - my set up!) Thanks for the advice, I'll try some of the things you all have suggested. Paul

I've only got the one Agimatic Steve. I'm not sure how much I like it yet. It's a quirky camera. It seems, Paul, that most of the later British cameras were copies The only ones with some originality that I can think of were the Periflex, Wrayflex and Ilford Witness.
