Hi Rick,
Another good crop from the back yard and well up to your usual high standard ... except for the yellow miniature rose. Something seems to have gone slightly astray with the definition in this one, or it wasn't quite in focus?

Rick: I like those shots...and I'm glad to know you're not perfect. I was beginning to get a complex about it! LOLBTW -- what are you doing in that new avatar?

Thanks Ron. The magnolia blossum was taken with the Sigma 600 mirror

BTW -- what are you doing in that new avatar? bird photos. I have a feeder just in front of me and the birdseed on a stump and a hummer feeder just over it

I think I like that magnolia blossom the best...but you must have been standing way back...is it in your neighbor's yard? And I don't know if I have the patience to wait for the birds to come! I usually stumble across them...and the ones too tame (or too stupid) to fly away get their pictures taken!

Display at Dyrham Park (National Trust) near Bath You need a few gardeners to do it on this scale! Paul oops - could get expelled for this - it was a digital photo. Sorry. Just posted under most recent posts and didn't check the catagory till later.

Interesting Rick,
Our magnolias have pink tinges to the petals (I know - they are really modified leaves, but they look like petals). Think they must be caused by frost. Lovely to see a pure white one. Hope you get your machine soon - is it portable?
Paul,
Great photo, but it confirms my opinion of the National Trust - they could have checked the colour that those bulbs were going to turn out before they planted them together!!
Regards - John

The difibillator/pacemaker is about the size of a 9 volt battery and is installed internally in my chest

Hi Rick, Wondered why your yard photography was so good! You get plenty of practice at it . Hope you'll be fully mobile soon. Take care buddy, some of those big lenses can be heavy . And remember, don't go leaning right over modern electronic auto ignition control boxes. I've been told the pulses from them don't do defibs a lot of good! Peter

Rick, nice work, as usual! The magnolia shot really stands out for me. (hmmm, I've never owned a mirror lens -- what am I missing??)
Hang in there buddy!
