Almost hate to post these after seeing Bob's truck and Mickey's street-lit scene! Really neat shots BTW. Good luck with truck, Bob. Been there my ownself a time or two. Anyway. here goes Hope ya enjoy. Camera is a Rollei 35s that hasn't been fired in years. These were taken yesterday. Right outside my front door. The tile roof at the left edge is my entry way. Meter is inop, so "Sunny 16" f16@1/500 Along the road to work: True "point and shoot" Set camera-point out window of car (@65mph) and shoot f16@1/500 River dock near work--exposure from handheld meter--don't remember it BTW: 5 minutes ago ;D Oly digitoy I know we will get at least one more hard freeze, and most of these blooms will succumb. Does it every year But it's fun while it lasts. Enjoy Roy

I can't believe how pretty the weather has been here for about a week. But it is clouding up and cooling tonite. 'Bout time for it to change. Leaving the tomato starts in the window for a while yet! Roy

I'm jealous, too, Roy. My son is always telling us about the "cold snap" (he's in southern Florida) -- when it gets down to 74. He usually mentions it when it's single digits here. We still have snow on the ground, although it's warming up ... got to 33 today, and it was a brighter grey outside than normal. Ugh!

Roy, nice to see you brought out that Rollei. Every lady needs to dance once and a while. And Sunny 16 was surely effective. Nice shots!

Thanx Tommy: The little Rollei is kinda weird and quirky, but it has a great lens, and it's shutter is so quiet, that sometimes I don't think it has fired. Fun little camera. Roy BTW: Raining and blowing here tonight--all those pretty blossoms are on the ground. O well--

One of the stranger winters I can recall. Not much snow (by our standards LOL) but colder than usual and for weeks at a time. We're getting a really gentle snow that's melting as it hits the ground. Where's all that global warming Al Gore promised me??
