The ROM as I knew on my first visit with my classmates 65 years ago. And as my sons knew it and my grandchildren. It still looks beautiful. This was the front entrance. It is no longer but it has been kept as has the original building. The Crystal. The new addition. Some call it The Growth. But it can be so colourful Or it can be imposing It can take flight Or it can engulf you It is dramatic And it is a beautiful abstract Change your position by a few paces and it is yet another picture. Ubiquitous McDonalds is never far away to feed the culture weary . I am becoming fond of this new addition to my little town. I know I shall never want for a photographic subject. Mickey

Ron,
You are not alone. There seem to be about as many pros as there are cons. I think Time will have to be the ultimate judge.
I must admit, when I was there taking the pictures, I was really taken by the architecture. Every time I looked at it there was something else to see. But I am not yet prepared to join either side.

That's like the glass pyramid they attached to the Louvre. Looked entirely out of place to me.
