Not exactly in my town but 20 km or so west is the Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park. I needed to try out the Oly Wide E and had heard that the falls was running heavy after nearly record rainfalls this past week. I wasn't disappointed with the falls or the Oly for that matter. You had to nearly shout to be heard at the viewing platforms while being misted on. These were taken with 400 film on a very overcast day. Bob What is left of the fall colour My two best buddies at the park just to show that the Oly is not too shabby at F4

Looks like that Oly's in good hands and works nicely Bob. Gonna have to git my butt to the falls soon for a few shots, looks tempting.

Bob,
I was there in September 2005. The water was considerably lower. I think it is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Your photos do it justice.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I was pleasantly surprised by the little OLY that could.

Get out there before it's too late.
Mickey
You just have to be lucky to catch it like this but you can always enjoy the camp grounds in the park. The Indian legend that goes with the falls is interesting too.
