Chapel interior, Minolta XD-7, MC W.Rokkor 2.8/21, Kodak Elitechrome This is not strictly in my home town, but beside two farm houses in walking distance from my home. I tried to photograph this a couple of times. But it got difficult light inside the small room. It is of course Roman Catholic (can be identified by the candles). I liked light hitting the mass candle, and I hate the white spot behind the altar. I had to tweak the curves in PS to get something worse being exposed to the public. At some point I will try to add images from the outside, as it is a typical (and IIRC about 400 years old) building. It is anyway totally unknown, as a mile in the opposite direction there is a chapel aged about 1200 years... Best regards Peter

Peter, The shape (the floor plan) of the chapel is interesting. What about the walls are they made of solid rock or bricks? Why not photoshop the the white spot also. There is an old church nearby. It has a new roof because of an arson. How do you conclude, that it is Catholic about the candles?

Reijo: Nice shot of the church. Regardless of religious persuasion, why burn churches? G-R-R-R-R-R! Roy

I agree Roy, I've never understood arson or destroying historic buildings of any sort. You just can't get history back. Especially in my area where there really isn't much left more than 100 years old.
