Hi Ron, Yes, Laurel and Hardy mirror plays a prominent role right next to my "How to Make an Italian Cry" photo ad for Shelby GT 350 Mustang. As you can plainly see from my self modelled green imp wizard, dust plays a major role with the uncovered specimens. I give them all a good dusting about once a month but never seem to stay ahead of the game. The old folders are the worst as you don't want anything to soak into the bellows so a feather duster is the weapon of choice. Not so important with the bakelite and plastic crowd, but I really ought to put my RF and TLR's behind glass. Exercising the shutters is where I'm sadly behind. Seems every time I want to shoot the next morning, I have to break out the lighter fluid the night before. At least the SLR's don't give so much grief, they either work or they don't. They also spend all their time with their respective lenses in huge boxes beneath my guest bed but NOT in the mold inducing leather never ready cases. I've got too many lenses where I absolutely blame the leather lens case as well as too much humidity for starting the durn fungus growing. Looking at barrister cases but for so many it wouldn't be cheap and unfortunately, I am, LOL.

Curt and Mickey: You look so organized...and your collections can only be described as VAST! Dust is a real problem. Most of my collection is in barrister cases, with glass doors, or in aluminum camera cases. But that still leaves a lot of cameras, lenses and books that have to be dusted regularly! After looking at my workroom photos I've decided my wife is right ( shhh...don't tell her I said that). I've simply got to get that place cleaned and organized!

Was just assessing - will need another three sets of wickerwork drawers when I confess to the size of my collection.
I'm going to have to work away from home forever!!
Regards - John
