Thank you Gene and Wayne. First I want to try a 12 or 20 exposure roll of colour neg. with the orange lens just to see what happens. I also have to touch when the sign says "Wet Paint".

I have two Spotmatics, a black one and chrome one along with a smattering of lenses. I love em'! By the way, the 35mm F/2 Takumars also used rare earth glasses and take on a strong color cast you can see in the viewfinder. Both the single and mulit-coated ones!

The orange colour is quite attractive and rather unusual for a camera lens. I have shot a roll of Fujichrome with the camera. The orange lens does not seem to alter the natural colour rendition. This Spotmatic is my first Pentax. I find it to be a very pleasant camera to use and am happy with the results.

P.S. My second Pentax is my new digital K100D which I am still getting used to. The manual is rather hefty and requires a Digitalese to English dictionary. M.O.

I started out with a Spotty way back in the '60s.

I have a Spotmatic with the normal yellow f1.4 lens. The colour isn't a problem - quite the opposite, as I shoot monochrome with my film cameras.
