Has anyone ever bothered to make a list of classic SLR's with a Mirror Lock-Up feature?
I know Minolta SRT-101 has it. As well as Yashica TL Electro X. Canon FT and Olympus OM-1 also have it.
Just curious if there is a list anywhere for vintage SLR's with that feature?

I don't know if these are considered vintage but the various Nikon Fs and the FM/FE series too in conjunction with the self timer being used.

As mentioned, the SRT 101 had it...the early version that is. It seems weird but Minolta would have it on a model for x amount of years and then delete it on an updated model.
I like the feature. Used it a lot on telephoto shots...tripod and aux shutter release. Had read somewhere years back...and if I remember correctly it was in an artice by Herbert Keppler...that pros used the feature but consumers tended not to. Thus cheaper to leave it off the cameras for the latter.

Pentacon F series/Contax D all had a form of MLU where if one half-pressed the shutter release, the mirror would flip up - a further press would then release the shutter.

I assume the SRT 102 had a mirror lock up as well. Yes?

The 1st version of the SRT-102 had mlu. Minolta dumbed it down after that. Canon FTBn also has mlu.

The SR-7.....is it a separate lever like the SRT-101? The reason I ask is I am working with a few folks on my vintageslrs yahoo group and we see a need to create 2 lists. One for SLR's with a true MLU with a separate lever for it. and 2nd list containing those SLR's that have a MLU using either pre-fire or the timer feature.

thanks for the FP and FX ...I have added them to the list.
The FTb is on the other list as it is not a separate MLU but a function of the self-timer.
