My first new camera was a Mamiya 1000 DTL -- but my first camera (one that was all mine, and not shared by my father, mother and sister) was a used Voigtlander Bessamatic, a great camera...so I still have a fond spot in my heart for anything Voigtlander (and several in my collection). I don't have one, Rachel, but I like the look of your Bessaflex...makes me want to log in to eBay right away! Oh No! save me save me.......................

Hi Paul, On the few occasions I've photographed a camera, that was a problem for me too. Yours is against that white background - Ron's too now, I see. I know the aim is to highlight the camera, but the white backdrop makes it a bit sterile. Got good results by placing the camera on a tripod against a bland (but not white), background. I then used auto flash to get the level right. Regards - John

That's a good way of showing a camera John. I'll have to try it with some of mine.
