Yes indeed, Mickey. Very much better. Marvellous what you can do with a short session on PS, in the light and sitting comfortably. Doing the same in a wet darkroom would take ages and use lots of paper on test strips and trial prints.
In the past I've had hours of fun in wet darkrooms, not to mention spending a fortune on film, paper and chemicals but I'm getting old and sybaritic. Nowadays I prefer a digital camera and the comfort of a "digital darkoom".
Vive le technologie! (or should that be la)
I still like to collect the oldies though.

We know the ones who like the cat o' nine tails, and they can't have it !
I liked the original anyway - the touch up is icing on the original cake.
