This B-17G never saw combat, but was converted to a firebomber and operated many years by Chico Aero Union. It was then acquired by the Commemorative Air Force, and restored to original condition. It is nearing the end of its flying days, however, unless a new set of main gear wheels can be located. This Mustang came down with a malady and was towed into this service hanger where it was being worked on most of the day. This shot presented quite a technical challenge due to the DEEP shadows inside the hanger, and intense light outside. Hope y'all enjoy lookin' as much as I did shootin'! Roy

Always a please to see what you can do with that spottie. Sure hope they find the parts needed to keep that B-17G flying up where it belongs. I think you did alright with that Mustang shot considering the lighting you had to work with.

Thanks, Bob I do like that camera. I like the 90-230 T-4 and the 300 TX better for black and white than for color. Don't care for the color rendition by them. Roy
