This is the latest addition to my Folding cameras collection, a lovely really LOVELY Balda Baldina, so cute because of its small size (if compared for example to the Voightlander Inor or Bessa), it is becoming my favourite among all the other foldings....

Sigh ... I guess that we will all have to think more carefully about how we show our cameras on the board if we are to compete with Paola's wonderful pictures ......

Dear Rachel, thanks a lot for the very nice comment! I am so glad you like my photos, my favourite subject in photography is Still Life (perhaps because I am more a painter than a photographer and love to paint still life compositions)Now that I am experiencing photography it is so exciting to make a photo having decided the same composition I would decide in case of a painting. I like these 'vintage' cameras, they are so good for still life composition, so.....photogenic....! These folding cameras are 'super' from this point of view because of their shape, the different type of material composing their bodies, and you can play with these different surfaces and textures and combined them with other elements that can suit nicely...Well I am talking too much (sorry...writing....) Thanks again for the nice words of appreciation.
Thanks to you, too, John!

Paola -
You do a beautiful job of setting up the still life shots of your cameras. I don't have the patience any more (or should I say I just don't exercise it ... always seem to be in a hurry to the next thing!)

That's a nice camera. I like how you photograph your older cameras.
