I bought a Peregrine 111 brand new in the fifties. It was superb. Does any Forum reader have and use one? Since this posting, I have put together a page, all about the Peregrine 111 and this can be viewed at my website www.statim.co.ukGeoff.

You didn't find that leather gauntlet a little awkward to wear? LOL
Not come across that one before. Nice to hear from you - Welcome aboard!

Thanks for your kind welcome John. I would like to work hand in glove with you by explaining a little bit more about the Peregrine 111. It was manufactured by the Kershaw Company shortly after WW2 when it was not possible to import German cameras such as the Zeiss Ikonta 1V which was its closest competitor. The Peregrine was fitted with a superb TTH lens which was certainly the equal of the Tessar. It was quite a heavyweight camera bur capable of extremely high quality results. Someone, somewhere out there, must have owned one. Come on. let's be having you! ATB Geoff.

A Peregrine you say? Amazing looking camera, now I've got to add that to my eBay searches. Closest I can come is a Kershaw Penguin I used to own I'm afraid. Not in the same league at all.

Here's another illustration of the Kershaw Peregrine 111.
The search for one starts now!

I have to agree with Curt: A pretty good looking camera ! Reminds me also of the Zeiss Ikonta, or a Voigtländer Perkeo model anyhow. Never heard of a Peregrine before. Thanks for showing and welcome Geoff !
