I have just re-located and opened the box with some of the Leica 39mm screw odds and ends in it. Among them was the Canon VT with Nikkor f2 5cm lens. (I'm afraid the photos were a bit rushed, so not the neatest.) Addendum: I have just realised that I could have used this as Q for quick winder in the competition thread.

A seriously nice find. I don't have the VT but P and think that it is the nicest vintage SM RF camera to use. Much better than a SM Leica for a number of reasons. The build quality is right up there too, at least in my estimation. Have you used it lately?

No I haven't used it recently. I never did use it that much. I already had the Canon 7, so I tended to use that. I do find the viewfinder a little pokey, especially when compared to the 7.
I probably bought it a little more than 30 years ago, but I've no idea how much I paid for it, although it would have been somewhere around market value. I think the Nikkor lens came with it.
