Hi all! I just scored a Ricoh / Sears FF1 and was wondering if anyone knows what size filter (if any) it would take? Maybe something for a Minox? I'm planning on shooting some Agfa Variopan XL that's been in my freezer for years. I'm not even sure if a filter will make any difference. Any ideas?

Have you tried a tape measure? I'll have to go back and have a look at the photo you have posted - will they be screw-in or push-on? I've no idea size wise. I googled the camera earlier in the day, but there didn't seem to be much about it: at least nothing I noticed at first glance.

Hi Dave! No tape measure, I did try a yardstick though I have a dial caliper, I'll use that, as my tape seems to have vanished. They would have to be a push on type. If I can't find any, I'll make my own . The only reference I could find is an article from an old popular photography, ca.1991. Doug

Hi All! I've been searching for some filters for my Ricoh / Sears FF-1 but didn't know where to look. I bought a box lot at auction that had some 8mm stuff in it, a couple of old Kodak series VI adapters, and some old Wratten filters of various types. There were 8 filters in all. The adapters were just a wee bit too small, but with a little tweaking, I got one to fit nicely I'll probably have to adjust the film speed to account for the filter factor, but can't wait to try it out!
