Hello,
Just received that little "Retina Guide" from the Bay with broken spine (fixed it - no problem), but discovered that just one page is missing. From the second edition from 1957, page 63/64 has been wrested, just the description how to work with the close-up lenses. Is there anybody out there who's willing to complete my Retina Guide with this particular page? A scan from the original would be most welcome! Please sent your responses to: ceessleven@gmail.com Thank you very much in advance!

Mickey, saw the thread opener and was going to suggest the same source - Mike Butkus has to be about the best around.
Welcome.
Dave.

Dave,
His service to camera collectors who rarely get instruction manuals with their camera purchases is invaluable. I periodically send a contribution in gratitude.

Yes, I need to send him a few bob. I must do it this weekend.
The annoying thing is when a camera "X" comes up on ebay "buy it now" £7, 10$ or whatever. Then from the same seller "manual for camera "X" £8".

The seller is simply trying to make a little more money. I probably would do the same thing. W

W Dear forummembers, I'm just a happy owner of a beautiful Retina IIIc, trying to complete his system and learning as much as possible. And I know that not everything is for free. But sometimes there'r things that you cannot buy, as that only page I'm looking for. Thanks for your suggestions, but even there the little book is not present. So my search went on to complete my Retina Guide with pages 63/64!

Hi Brichma ! Welcome to the forum! I'll keep my eyes open for your missing page, or any other Retina related information. Doug Thank you all for your help on this subject. The proposed link indeed gives me the right information, but not the right layout to restore my Retina Guide, second edition, 1957, by W.D. Emanuel, American Editor Norman Rothschild... There must be anyone else with this book on the shelf! For the matter: I like it here on this forum!

Mickey, I'm getting worried about us. How can we, several thousand miles apart, make almost identical posts at almost exactly the same time? Spooky.
brichma, it's good to have another European on board. I played rugby for a Dutch team (The Smugglers from Velserbroek) in a tournament in Ghent, Belgium several years back. Just about all the team spoke English and to make it worse spoke it better then many Brits do. I'm sure we'll be keeping an eye out for that guide.
Dave.

I know a young artist from Wirral who tries his upper best to speak and read Dutch, and paints like a photographer...
