in my place, the normal humidity is around 50-60 percent.... so to keep my stuff in 'normal' conditions I use 'dry cabinet' that using silica gel and some dehumidifier for a bigger container, with this methods I can get humidity around 35-40 percent in that boxes.
this year I try to use only one camera and 1-2 lens..... and I choose MX + 28mm/2.8 for accompany me wherever I go. I love MX because it small enough to hold with one hand ( my hand is not big ..
) and the LED metering is simple to use even in the dark condition.
other reason is.... it is fully mechanical and quite easy to find around my country..
* my lovely MX ... with its 'backup' on the MD ..
