We are back from Kent but did not take as many photographs as we intended; the fishing was too good ! However we did get around to running film through a couple of cameras from our collection. The Zeiss Super Ikonta A was loaded with some Kodak VHC 120 which is almost 20 years out of date lol. For a 70 year old camera loaded with 20 year old film the results are not too bad. We are off to Warwickshire in a couple of days again loaded down with a sackful of cameras from our collection; unfortunately the fishing is good there too lol. Jenny and

We keep all our film in the freezer and we have film old enough to vote lol. The batch of Kodak VHC 120 was bought at a camera fair two years ago; the expiry date was 1988 hence it was very cheap and as Ernie is a Yorkshire man any thing cheap is ok with him lol.
We have kept it in the freezer but where it was kept before we got it we have no idea. We develop it as normal in Patterson photocolour II for 3min 15sec and we think it has done very well for its age. Two more rolls to go and then we are on the new stuff from the 1990s.
The Super Ikonta A530 is a great little camera and although made around 1937 is still a delight to use.
Jenny.
