In a tizzy

My younger son, Jeff, and I are leaving Monday on a much needed three week vacation.

We will be driving leisurely toward the east coast. I don't know if we will get as far as Newfoundland.

The lobsters are in deadly peril.

This is my first vacation in 6 years and I have been in a tizzy this past week stopping mail and newspaper deliveries, buying some clothes and luggage, getting maps from the auto club, paying all outstanding bills, having my Matrix undergo a thorough check up, trying to eat all perishable foods and a myriad of major and minor details. I am not accustomed to this.

I need a holiday.

I will stop my internet tomorrow and pull the plug on dear old i Mac for a while.

We are prepared for everything from parkas to mukluks to bathing suits.
I have a more than adequate supply of gigabytes and megapixels stored in my fridge.

Homard, lobster,nephropidae, homaridae, whatever - they don't stand a chance.
I will change their complexion from green to rosy red.
