I recently picked up a Moskva 5 at a camera show. Other than some paint wear of the trim this camera is in good condition and working properly. I have run a couple of rolls through it with excellent results. Will post a few when I get my MF scanner in a few weeks. Anybody else have any experience with this model??

Colyn, I don't have a Moskva 5 but I do own a 4 and a 2. The 4, in particular, takes a sharp image. When I received it - looking like a new camera - the rangefinder was off just enough to give very soft images. IMO, the original owner saw the same thing and simply put it away until it was sold to the dealer from whom I bought it. I adjusted the rangefinder and it now takes a great image. This was taken with the Moskva-4 at f/8 handheld. It's been posted before so apologies to anyone who has seen it already. Walker

Mine takes razor sharp images and the rf is spot on so I would have to say I made a deal on it. I'll be gettinga mf scanner in the next week or two so I can scan some samples.

Colyn
Let us know what med format scanner you get and how you like it. That would be my next step to take advantage of what my med format cameras have to offer.
Walker
Good example of what med format has to offer, detail in a smooth and creamy image.

My Canon 9950F flatbed does a great job (IMHO) on 120 --up to 4x5. There's a Epson, I forget the model number, with pretty much the same features as the Canon.

I'm looking at the Epson Perfection 4990 Photo. It will scan up to 8x10 negs which means I'll be bringing my 8x10 view out.
