"Nora's freezin' on the trolley Swaller dollar cauliflower Alley ga roo"
From an old Pogo comic strip from the 1950s.

I remember Mad Magazine's Christmas edition of (probably) 1965. While I have heard of Pogo I'm not sure I have actually seen it. I like the rhyme. I don't know Icehouse, but it looks inviting.
Compliments of the season to all.

Happy Chanukah. Merry Christmas.
I hear that every year Santa stops on a snow covered roof and has a drink with his old friend the Fiddler on the roof. Cocoa of course.

Pogo was a strip done by Walt Kelly, one of the first in the U.S. that contained considerable political satire.

How to celebrate Christmas, living in a non-christian country ? Becoming the Santa myself, having fun and making other people happy A very Merry X-mas to everybody !!! I've wondered what goes through the minds of all the factory workers who make most of our Christmas decorations. Do they have any idea what the stuff is about? The holiday may be Christian, but the feelings are universal. Merry Christmas! Ron
