I once had to smash a camera in a TV commercial. An old beautiful TLR. I killed a lot of people on TV, raped girls and whatever an actor needs to do sometimes ... but THAT hurt Were you ever in a Godzilla movie?

I don't think that's Berndt in the classic "Man in a rubber suit" Godzilla costume!! I did notice a Nikon rangefinder camera in one of the Godzilla movies, a scientist was trying to photograph Gozilla on the rampage...what else? Stephen.

Hahaha ... yeah, the Godzilla movies have been before my time here, but I would have loved to be in there !!! In fact, some of my friends from the business were in.

On youtube, a very old John Mills pre war film, The Ghost Camera, where a roll film camera turns in to a plate camera, and then back to roll film, a good trick if you can do it!! Can't really see the makes, but the roll film camera looks like an Ensign. Not a bad film, more of curiosity interest. Stephen. I remember someone using a TLR then printing 35mm negs in the dark room that came out colour when they were shown

Recently we watched a movie that was supposed to take place in 1932. I got all excited when I spotted a camera that hadn't been produced until 1935. My wife's response was "jeez honey, get a life", and we went back to the movie.

Nearly ruined watching The Philidelphia Story, James Stewart uses a 35mm camera in the last scene, and I could not see the make! Can't access the scene via youtube to check, as Warner do not let the UK see the film, taking the same attitude as TCM to UK customers, annoy them, but expect them to still buy the product! Good relations goes a long way to encourage sales, but Turner and Warner do not seem to have grasped the basics of salesmanship as yet.
For US readers, the UK is palmed off with a water down German run Turner TCM that only shows modern films, charges and has adverts as well, no service worth watching, all Turner hope is a UK subscriber never sees the US service. Perhaps the same US businessmen who insisted on regional coding of DVds, promptly cutting off mass sales of the product in the UK.
