One of my Rolleicords, a IIa, but the faceplate is a peculiar orange/brown colour. Although I've not seen another one like it I've been told that they are not uncommon like this. Apparently you could get some kind of bleach to treat the trim for this effect? My "modern" Rolleicord Vb. I bought this "new" while on holiday in Cornwall many years after production stopped. It had been discovered in the shop's storeroom.

Both of those are quite lovely. That first one is really striking with the brown nameplate. And the late model Rolleicord -- wow. What a great find.

Very nice pair of Rolleicords. I can now see why they compare the early Yashica TLR's with the 'cords. They look very similar. I will have to keep my eye out for one to add to my collection.

Heath,
The Rolleicord was a much copied camera with many Japanese "versions" and even an English one, the MPP Microcord.
