Is there anyone here in the group that owns a Minolta Autocord? If so, can you show us some photos of it and tell us some information about them? I've wanted one since I started collecting cameras, but for some reason they keep slipping through my fingers.

Randy, I actually have one, forget the model but it is a later one, that I have never used. Seller said it works fine, I haven't even taken it out to play with. If interested I may be willing to part with it. It isn't posted for sale anywhere, so it won't slip away if you don't want it to.

Hold onto it Rover, I just had to put a water pump in my van, and my mechanic needs 3 C notes.

I think I will go shot with it, then I can show you how it works.

Randy: I just ran across this post. If you're still interested in this subject, I think I still have an Autocord users manual on CD if you'd like a copy.

Yeah, thanks, I never did ask Rover what he wanted for it.

Hmm, looks like I have to do some camera testing. I have a Canon VT and Leitz 50/3.5 Elmar to test too.

A little off subject here...please excuse me guys. But at least the "...cord" part is right.
I just missed getting a Rolleicord for $100. Had been in the local repair shop to have some light seals put in a new 'oldie' and he had one he had done some work on and the owner supposedly left town(!?). It looked to be in quite good shape.
Fred said he would sell it for $100, but by the time I decided to go for it and gave him a phone call, it was gone.
I have no idea if that was a good price or not.
Back on track...I would love an Autocord!!!!!

If you consider the Autocord a Rollei copy shouldn't it be an Autoflex? It's more akin to the Rolleiflex than the Rolleicord.

Rachel,
Now you have me wondering what exactly I did miss out on. I might have misquoted Rolleicord and the camera was actually a Rolleflex. Seems to my stupered mine now that it was.
