Hi Everone, Have been preoccupied with the old eBay for a week or so. Bought this trio today from an independent seller - From L - R: Ensign Revue-Flex (look at the shape - superb design). Ross - Ensign Revue-Flex Super (almost perfect design - although the focus mechanism is pathetic - three positions, pull in and out to pre-positioned click stops). Ross - Ensign Revueflex\Synchrofash. Lost interest by this point. The earlier models were die-cast metal, this was bakelite. If I'd been offered this on it's own would have walked away, but nice as a trio. Rolleicord for size comparison. The Ensigns used 620 (120 for the Syncroflex) - same size as the Rollei. Regards - John

Interesting designs. Did they ever import them to the States? I don't remember ever seeing one.

As you say, John, a nice trio. The Fullvues were very popular, and Ensign claimed to have sold over a million of them - except the Ross Ensign plastic one which was rather a dismal failure. There's a very interesting page on Fullvues on Adrian Richmond's site, as well as other Ensign cameras and a history of the company. If you want to have a look the address is www.ensign.demon.co.uk/ensigncamerapage.htmPeter

Yes they are neat aren't they? Don't know if they were exported to the States though... If they had pushed on with development of the Super, (in particular the focus arrangements), they could have been really special, but they opted for the cheaply built option, and couldn't compete with the far east imports.
