Mickey, I'm surprised at you setting the camera to the "wrong" date format. Of all the things different in the USA to here that date format is the one I really object to. I don't think it's with me being English, more a case of having a sense of order - which I believe should ascend or descend in magnitude for something like this.

Mickey, if you had it would have been a grave mistake! I'm ambidextrous* as regards paper sizes - and in many other things too. * I'm not ambidextrous really - but I would give my right arm to be so.
