I'm new here and I'm going to try to post a photo from my pbase gallery. If this comes through, it was taken at the San Juan Bautista Mission in California of the statue in honor of the Native Americans who were enslaved at the missions. The photo was taken with a gray leather Yashica A, a bargain at under $30 US. Wonderful 3 element lens. The preview doesn't show the image, so I'll post anyway.

Ok, another try with another URL. Then, back to the instructions!

By the way, I should've said "excellent shot with this Yashica. You've definitely got a good eye".

Curt, thank you. The Yashica-A is a truly fine camera (a total bargain) and that is one of my favorite places. Now then...how did you post that? This is what I did: What did I do wrong? Thanks, Todd

No problem Todd, I've sent you a PM personal message on photo display here and I've also sent the same message to your email address. Don't worry, it's very easy, and only takes a few seconds. Hey, life doesn't have to be so hard LOL.

Don't give up, Todd.
It took me a couple of weeks and some borderline patience on the part of our Fearless Leader who was mentoring me.

Hi Todd, I've tried using your pbase URL to post this picture and every combination I can think of but nothing works so I'm guessing that Proboards won't work with pbase for some reason. Maybe if you use your Photo.net URL?

Todd,
The only thing I can think of is that maybe you need to declare the page as public somewhere in pBase as you do in Photobucket?
Regards - John

Thank you for your patience and assistance. My pBase photos are public and I use my wedding gallery there for a link to my small business website. I think it may be a pBase problem in relation to The Camera Collector.
Today I will join Photobucket and simply put all of my funky fotos there. (^U^)

Shadows on mission entrance. Yashica-A Using the Photobucket host is the key to this. Very easy to upload images to Photobucket and very easy to download photos here. Thank you all.
