Is this what my English teacher meant by an indefinite antecedent?

This sign is on show outside a shop in Hampshire, UK. I wonder if the word GLNEDENE was a mistake or if it was carved that way to attract attention! The "E" at the end should have been used to make the word "GLEN". The sign was probably made by a weary carver at the end of the day.

It was probably brought back by an irate customer, and they just did not want to waste it! Some house name oddities in the UK are explained by the old habit of splitting the couples names and juggling a word out of it.

Where I used to live there was a new house on the apex of a right angle bend in the road. The owners named it 'Derenroc'!

German dogs are so well educated that they read signs and obey.

This appears to be originally mis-spelt, but now it's a well photographed and publicised part of Blackpool's sea front shops.

I don't know if it is still there, but a few years ago there was a shoe shop in Brighton, England with the name. 'R.Soles'!

Christchurch NZ, one of the few buildings in the epic center of the 2011 earthquake still standing (more or less) Did the paint indeed do what it promised???

I have been walking past this door for years and never really looked at the sign!

I took this this morning. It is just the positioning of the signs, not the condition of the bus stop!
