I went to clean our church, and after I was done, went for a stroll through the cemetary. I've been doing some research and taking photos for a book on eastern Broome County, NY that I'm doing. I might include this one. Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. Doug

I can tell what I like in the picture. Framing with round borders, as if looking through a window. The light from the side gives a special mood, the trees provides balance in the photo. Also, the chapel, center of interest, is well placed and tombstones are leading to the chapel. I like the composition, the light, and the mood in the photo.

Thank you Truls! The photo was taken with my Fuji FinePix through the viewfinder of an Anscoflex II. Of course I resized it and changed the color, but that's all. The Church was built in 1841, so I thought the look was in line with it's age. I was thinking of printing it out in one of the Daguerrotype plate sizes and framing it to match the period. Thanks again for the input Doug
