Quite a number of items purchase on Ebay recently, in the main good cheap bargains, so decided to go for a Centon 500mm F8 Mirror lens for the digital OM micro pen PM-1, and order a new, but very economy priced type. I am well used to the limitations of mirror lenses, and how to tweak a bit out of them. I would love a new Russian lens, but far too costly. The 500m lens acts as a 1000mm lens on micro 4/3. It has a T2 mount on the mirror body, so requires a T2 adaptor for M 4/3.Pondering on what to get for adaptors, as I have a Pentax to 4/3 adaptor, I wondered about a cheap Pentax adaptor, but found they are not that cheap on ebay. I have an Exakta to Micro 4/3 adaptor, and checked on T2 Exakta mounts, ...they cost even more.... So I looked up a T2 to Micro 4/3 adaptor, and ordered a relatively cheap one, actually less cost than the M42 or Exakta type, from China, via ebay, this morning, before going out...... Now today I had look around the junk shop in Rochester, and what turns up?, but an M42 T2 mount and an Exakta T2 mount, both for 50 pence each......********!! The two adaptors at the bottom, M42 and Exakta. So at least when the 500m mirror lens turns up in the post I will have mount ready to try it out!!! and another adaptor on it's way from China!! Exakta T2 on the Micro 4/3 to Exakta mount.Stephen.

Kind of interesting, but I've just recently struggled with the same issue. I shoot both Nikon and Micro4/3rds (which is a recent addition). One of my weird photography obsessions has always been cat.-mirror lenses, and have always wanted either the Tokina or Tamron. As Tamrons are way more expensive these days I got a Tokina off of eBay. Of course since I decided to go with the Tokina vs. other brands who use T2. My decision was made for me and I'll order a m4/3 to Nikon adapter.....unless of course I decide to keep the Samyang 500mm mirror in the cabinet as well!

Most of the micro Digital camera makes takes a huge variety of adaptors, Micro 4/3 and Sony have the most. One odd one I found by accident is the Pentax Q can operate with D mount cine lenses!...it has a smaller sensor area. The only difficult one for Micro 4/3 in Miranda, I found an Ebay listing for some US made ones. A real surprise was Alpa 35mm mount being quite commonly made, also Robot, and Paxette, (rarely listed though).
