Hi, Thought you might like to see a few street scenes. If I can remember the camera I used I've mentioned it. Film, as usual for my B&W pics was FP4 developed in my standard ID11. Peter Spotted this couple in Paris a few years ago. I have no idea now what they were looking at, nor can I remember what camera I used. Came across this restoration of a derelict country house in a Hampshire village. Camera was a Canon A1 Sreet gossips. This pair were so deep in their conversation I had time to move round and take a second pic. Taken in the 1970s with a 1936 Robot. Street gossips shot 2. Can't make up my mind which one I prefer. Backwater lane in a Hampshire town. Camera was a Canon AE1

Peter,
Street photography just looks so neat and documentary when done in b&w. Of the two pics with the gossiping men, I like the second one. With the great depth of field of the two, it is the less cluttered if you will. Plus I like seeing the style of the building and more of the street bricks and the sidewalk.

I like the second shot of the gossips also Peter. I've shot pictures of downtown here recently, but I'm up in the air of where to send my 120 b&w film. I may try Dale Labs in Florida. Where do you guys send your 120?

Hi Peter,
I also like the second shot of the gossips. The background is simpler/less distracting and their environmental setting is more clearly shown.
All are nice shots. I miss shooting B&W, hope to get back to it eventually now that some inkjets are becoming available that do a good job with it.
Cheers!

Randy,
Gosh...guess I am lucky to be in Kalamazoo. There is a regular lab that has been around for years, and they process color and b&w 120 inhouse. I use them for all processing unless I want the results immediately, like when I am just running a check on a camera.
I also use them to mount and laminate all photos I display. Used to do it myself, but they have all the newer high tech equipment that makes it so easy, that it is worth the extra cost to me.
