Hi All! Here's my latest find, a Konica TC-X that I picked up at a sale for the Animal Care Council. It was marked 5 dollars, so I bought it on the spot. I didn't even bother asking if it worked as it has a lens I can use, and it was for a good cause Anyway, I got it home and cleaned up the outside, put a fresh battery in and.......nothing It takes a AAA battery so I pulled the battery back out to check the chamber. The terminals look ok, but I cleaned them with some steel wool anyway (don't worry, I only use OOOO ). I put the battery back in, and the meter sprang to life! The camera is mechanical, the battery is for the meter. This model was produced for Konica by Cosina ( if I'm not mistaken ), and sold from 1983 to 1985. It was the last model sold under the Konica name, was 99% plastic, and the first to use DX coding. It's very light, and the feel reminds me of my old Minolta Dynax 3000i. Still, not bad for 5 bucks Doug

you spent your $5 wisely, that's a very nice lens for the money. At that price the camera could be a rear cap!
