Did anyone else take photos of the "Supemoon" last night? Here's my attempt: I was out fishing and by the time I got to where I had a shot, the moon was too far above the horizon to get the full effect. O Well! Roy

Here is one that I took. I had to wait until the moon cleared the trees in my backyard to see it and it was pretty high in the sky by then.

Thanks, Truls! That particular shot was at ISO 800, f16, 1/500, in full manual mode. Stephan really simplified moon-shooting for me with his tip of treating the full moon like a bright sunlit daytime shot. Thanks Stephan! Kodaker, I really like the color of that shot. That's what I wanted but I was too slow on the draw Roy

I got the picture without any trouble. I used a Galaxy made Kryptonite filter and focused beyond infinity - waaaaay beyond. Mickey
