Looking aroung in the current posts It seems most of us are definitely out of our teens... Today I'm 62 - old? grumpy? No!! But more wise than some years ago... How did we look like when we were (really) young? Do you still have the pics? Well, this is me, 1958, age 8...: PaTruusHans by hanszeiss, on Flickr To the left is my sister Truus, 12 years old, and to the right my father, who died too soon in 1963 at the age of 52... The photo was taken by my mother with a Agfa Silette (if I remember well), just before my father changed to Zeiss Ikon. Kaarten by hanszeiss, on Flickr 1958, Wilderswil, Switzerland, the complete family (except Mum who takes the pic), me in foreground. Hans

Dated on the back of the print as Sept 1951, taken on Verichrome Pan 620 on a Brownie 6x9 folder (UK) model, fixed focus, one speed, I still have the Kodak camera in fully working order. Despite the simplicity of the Brownie Folder, it gave sharp outdoor views, of Dry Hill Farm in 1949, and even took an indoor shot at Christmas 1950. Christmas 1950 with Teddy, who still survives, and a Dog Pyjama case, that's long gone ..... No flash with the Brownie! Stephen.

Wish I had some pics of me when I was young, but they were lost in a house fire when my mother's house burned.

No. It happened back in the '70s well after my parents got divorced.
