I still want a Xapshot. I don't need the two skull caps.

I wanted a tiny Olympus OM-1 in all-black finish for a while but once I handled one I couldn't figure out how to place my fingers around the straps to carry it comfortably.
On the other hand, a Minolta XD-11 was almost the same size but fit my hands comfortably and every control was right at my fingertips. I've always appreciated cameras that you can easily operate while looking through the viewfinder.

... I've always appreciated cameras that you can easily operate while looking through the viewfinder. The feel and the handling is sooo important. I never had a problem with my OM1n it fitted my hands perfectly. I used to sell cameras and we had the policy of putting it in the customer's hand. You could see how it fell in place and where the controls were. If the customer found it tricky, you'd get another model. In the old days the customer was not really 'brand aware' so a Pentax, Minolta or an Olympus were the same to them. We sold on the basis of how the customer was going to get along with the camera. Old fashioned in the old days.
