AW CRAP!!!It looks like I did it this time. Photobucket messed up a post, and I tried to delete it and repost. Even though the warning said I was about to delete ONE POST, it wiped out the whole d****d thread. My deepest apologies to everyone! I'll start it again, in case anyone is still interested! Mickey, that is NOT what I meant when I said I was proud to stand with you! Ol(kicking himself!)roy

I did not comment last time, but surely any half decent forum software includes the main owner to un-delete anything? it is after all still on the server. The main options pages for the registered user of most forum software usually has these options on set-up..... Stephen.

As Stephen says what the site needs is a life Boat To add further: surely there must be an undelete "button" for at least the main webmaster. Nothing is deleted with a single stoke of a key. Flickr asks twice after the original request to delete is made to ensure that you really want to delete. It warns you that once done (i.e three presses of delete) it is not recoverable.

Henri Cartier-Bresson expo in Pompidou Centre, Paris ... Just a nod to the Master so he can protect this thread. Nice thought. The trouble is there's a big difference between camera buttons and computer keys. And Cartier Bresson had only one button on his camera, and it did only one thing. Every time. Always. So he might've got into trouble with a computer too. There are so many keystroke combinations that aren't documented. The other day I was writing a reply on some other blog, and everytime I wrote shift+letter, a sound clip elsewhere in the thread started playing. You can never be absolutely sure what's going to happen, any time.

Its only part of the keystroke logging software that GCHQ put on everyones PC. Ignore it. f course fat fingers and the unfortunate combination of letters next to each other. I often spell my name Bitch and write nutster instead of shutter. I expect the software will change the wording of my post - bit ypu gwt thr udea.

H for Haggis broth (or rather the ingredients) Here is the recipe (below the photo) Soak the barley overnight, then bring to the boil 24 hours later in a pint (500ml) of water. Skim off the scum, strain and rinse. The grains should be 'al dente'. Chop the potatoes and carrot into 1cm (half inch) size pieces. Chop half of the onion or use a small one. Add all the vegetables to a to a pan containing a pint of water (500ml) and a dash of salt and pepper. Use just half of the haggis (about 250g or ½ pound) and add a clove of garlic or a teaspoon of 'lazy garlic' Bring gently to the boil. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes and carrots are soft. Add the barley about half way through. Let it stand for about half an hour. It will thicken up while standing. You may add neeps to this if you wish for a more authentic Scottish taste. Dissolve a stock cube (lamb, beef or veg) in a pint of water (500ml) and boil. Add the stock gradually until the broth reaches its desired 'liquidity' heat up the broth and serve with home made crusty bread. Best served with whisky (scotch of course) or Irn Bru.

My mouth is watering now thinking of this. I may just go shopping for a haggis on Monday. Oh, check this out if you want to know what neeps are. Read it all and decide if it answers the question. What are neeps?
