Shot in Seaside Oregon during a snowstorm (they are unusual on the coast). It won an honorable mention in the annual Kodak National Photography contest and a $125 prize. That was darn near a week's wages for me in the early '70s. Nikon F (I have to admit I shot it out of a rolled down car window. There was 15 inches of snow on the beach. Didn't last long. The following day the temperature rose 40 degrees in a half hour. Then winds gusting to 115 mph blew away all the snow overnight!!
