I found a Yashica-D TLR yesterday on Gumtree (a buy and sell website) located only 15kms from my home. The ad was simple - Yashica-D TLR in good condition. with a couple of photos. Price $35 (Australian $$) I was sceptical as these have been selling on eBay Australia for $150+ for average condition and damaged cameras. Thought it was worth having a look at though - Even if it wasnt working it would make a nice shelf display camera to go next to my (not working) Flexaret TLR Rolled up to the house after work to meet a lovely gentleman in his mid 70's. He bought the camera brand new many years ago and it was the back up to his Mamiya for most of its life. The camera was immaculate! it looks like a brand new out of the box camera complete with leather case and strap, lens cap, expired roll of 120mm film and instruction manual. I'm very tempted to sell it as I would make quite a hefty little profit on it, But I dont think I can bring myself to sell it - its so pretty!! haha. My partner has a Yashica 124G so I guess we have a His/Hers TLR set up now
