Hi, folks. It has been a while. Was a member back in the early days of the forum but dropped out a number of years ago. In the old days my specialty was Soviet rangefinder cameras. Still have about 40 Zorkis, FEDs and Kievs. Don't do much with them now. There was a time when I could replace shutter curtains and do CLAs. I also have a few early American rangefinders and a number of Nikons. You can see most of my stuff at www.swcornell.com/camera/cameras.htmlMy Dad taught me to develop film and print when I was about 10 years old. Spent several years as a newspaper photographer way back when. Many of the Nikons I have now are the ones I could not afford back in the day. Over the years I've owned a lot of cameras. Everything from a Leotax (wish I still had it) to a Speed Graphic. Still have some developing tanks but haven't shot a roll of film in nearly 10 years. I have a Nikon DSLR that I can used my old Nikkors on but my IPHONE 8 produces great pictures of my granddaughter and that's pretty much all I care about in the way of photos. The forum is a great place. At one time we took a river cruise in Europe and I got to meet on of the members (MIK) in Vienna. Probably wont participate much but thought I would check in from time to time.

I did not shot film also for about 10 years after swapping from Nikon F301 to D70. But in 2014 I came back and started collecting all the cameras I missed back then.
Rangefinders, especially russian ones take a great part of my collection. My very first 35mm camera was a second hand fed 1. Recently I got a Kiev 5 in nice working condition. I will present it here as soon as I have made some pictures of it.
