The nikon Z system is bliss for adapting all kinds of lenses to it. Depending on the adapter and the type of lens things work partially or flawless. Now in trying to adapt my canon EF type lenses i had some trouble, mainly with the 17 and 24 TS lenses as they haven't got manual diafragm rings/control.To overcome this problem i've bought the tech art EF to Z smart adapter wich cost me (when it was first introduced) 300€+ turned out it didn't work for any of its claimed functions and i had to return it. Now after some time has passed some other makers offer "smart" EF to Z adapters and since i am keen on using the canon TS lenses i thought let's try it again. This time i made an appointment at my local Kamera express shop where i asked if i could try the Meike adapter before i would buy it, wich they said wouldn't be any problem. So i tried it, it worked and i've bought it. The diafragm control wheel on the adapter doesn't work, but that's no problem as diafragm is set on the camera wich works perfect. The TS lenses are manual so i haven't tried AF with the adapter, only very briefly with a 50mm AF lens wich went a little unsure, but that can be asigned to the Z not properly tuned, have to look further in to that, but in the end it is not inportant to me as i'll be only using these manual EF lenses. Here's the Z with the Meike adapter and the Canon EF TS 17mm mounted.
