Randy
Got the CT1G - Nadsace is "evaluating" it. She has it's 50mm and a nice Cosina zoom, plus a K > M42 converter and a few nice Praktica lenses, so I'm awaiting the results with interest!

It looks like a prize specimen! Nice, solid looking camera. Does it have a good 'feel' when you use it?

Ain't got it yet Gene, but the Cosina is the same camera and it's nice and light. I gotta get an affordable K-Mount Zoom though, I don't have one.

Yeah...like, Randy...you have problems finding 'affordable" gear to buy!!! In reality...you seem to be the luckiest when it comes to 'fantastic finds'...!!!
That Vivitar sure does look sweet in the pics.

Poorhouse here too Randy. Finally got the Praktica IV I've been searching for. I already have one I received in a box lot but it's missing the back so pretty useless till now. Slowed my bidding down and now I only bid on "gotta have" equipment, like the Fujica F801 I'm stalking.

At last - a Vivvitar came up on our eBay, but it's a V335 (Pentax K). Nadiah is still 'evaluating' the Cosina CT1G, which is the only Pentax K camera I have, so no I'm not going to bid. I'm not going to bid. I'm not.

Hippie strap! LOL! That's the first time I've heard that term for these types of straps Believe it or not, they still sell them at Ritz Cameras. I put one on my N70. Steve

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh Hippie straps. Anyone still use tham? maybe we should start a hippie strap thread I intensely dislike Hippie Straps and I've donated a few to Brian Sweeney who knows a guys who like them. Their width often causes a problem with the advance lever and that's reason enough to not have one on any camera I own. Over a year ago I started a thread on Hippie Straps on Rangefinder Forum. Some people liked them while others didn't. I don't. Walker

I liked the straps in one way because they seemed more comfortable then the thinner ones. But, what I really hated about them was the metal snap/clips that come on them would scratch up the finish. Plus, the key-ring they used to attach to the camera would always bind up and you were constantly fixing it before taking a shot. I haven't put any on a camera for several years. A friend of mine gave me a guitar strap once and suggested using shoe string to attach it to a camera. Somehow, this idea didn't appeal to me, so now I have an extra guitar strap laying around somewhere
