An old friend of mine riding a bull at an Indian rodeo in Cibacue, Arizona. This is my oldest surviving B&W negative, from 1965. Minolta HiMatic 7, Tri-X, Yellow filter Gene

Parts of my body hurt just looking at the pic, as they do when I watch bull riding on TV. Not a participating sport for this "chicken".
It looks like a beautiful day for the festivities though.

Great action shot Gene - it has just about everything, including a nice balancing act - those clouds are worth highlighting as part of the overall composition.
Wouldn't fancy trying that sport though - where's the fun in that !!
Regards - John
ps Having said that - I did have a go at riding an ostrich once.... Don't ask!

Ron, Brian, John, Randy, thanks for looking and commenting!
No, not a sport for me either. My friend Don didn't stay on long but he was certainly game. He's my age, 61, and recently visited a chiropractor who examined his spine and immediately asked him "Did you use to ride bulls?"
Brian, no I sold my HiMatic 7 to a friend at university when I 'moved up' to a new Pentax H1a, my first SLR. I was so naive then it never even occurred to me that a person might own more than one camera at a time ...
