Here are four more images that I took in NZ in 1976. OM-1 & OM-2 cameras with Zuiko lenses. A park in Palmerston North. A speed boat on a river, North Island. A gentleman with an interesting face. Geo-thermal electric generation station. Much of North Island's power comes from places like this. Walker

Walker, your older Kodachromes really blow me away. They've held up so well, and they're such good images.
I'd really love to see a version of the gentleman with interesting face as a B&W with some warm toning...

Wow Walker, I take a fast look at your photos and wonder if I should bother posting any of my own meager attempts anymore. Great work, wish I had one or two shots as nice in my repertoire.

Great pictures. Even on a computer monitor, Kodachrome stands out. In a group of color images, I bet you could pick out the Kodachrome just about every time... they have such a 'punch' to them.

Thanks, everyone. I too am amazed by the longevity of Kodachrome and wish it were more readily available today. I've checked every drug store and Wally World around and they don't carry slide film at all.
Gene, I took several shots of that gentleman and when I have a chance I'll dig another slide of him out and scan it. Then I'll covert it to B&W to see what I get. I'll post it for you.

Kodachrome rocks!!!!!!!!!
Great pics by the way.
I used K 25 up until I couldn't get it anymore, then I went to Velvia 50 for both 35mm and MF with the occasional foray into K 64 for 35mm if I couldn't get any 50 ASA stock.
Now they've stopped making Velvia 50, it looks like I'll have to move onto Velvia 100 although you can still get K 64 apparently.
I'm not too keen on the idea of having to send K 64 all the way to Switzerland just to get it developed and mounted though, what with the Swiss lab being the only one left in this neck of the woods.
