I have an older Mamiya Sekor F.C. 35/2.8 lens in Exakta mount for the older Prismat series cameras. It seems identical, except for mount, to the Nikkorex lens of the same spec. The lens shows no sign of trauma, yet the focus is stuck tight and immobile. I think the grease may have turned solid. I'm hoping for suggestions on how to free it up, hopefully from someone who has worked on one of these. Thanks.

Wish I had a good suggestion. I've got several Prismats and the Nikkorex F that Mamiya built for Nikon...but I've been fortunate. All the lenses (and additional lenses) for all the cameras are working just fine. I'm going to dig around and see if I have a repair manual for them of them of any kind. I don't recall seeing one in the collection, but then...I don't recall a lot of things these days! I'll look around and let you know!
