A used Kodak rangefinder arrived in the mail today. Not a camera -- literally, just a rangefinder. It measures in feet and the distance scale is visible in the viewfinder.
This will help me use my Zeiss Ikon 6x6 folder that has no RF built in. I'm terrible at estimating distance. I'm going to carry this around with me and practice so I can eventually guesstimate more accurately.

I have a few accessory rangefinders that I use on my scale focus cameras, such as my Zeiss Ikon Contina, Agfa Silette and Kodak Retinette. One of them (made by Hanimex) is quite accurate and I use it to figure out ifmy rangefinders are accurate. Very useful tools.
