Waiting for the green light in St. Augustine, FL. I think the mini-van driver chose the wrong competitor! Bill

That would be a Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe kit car as sold by www.Shelbylegends.com or www.dynamicmotorsports.net. I found this on a site you'll drool over for hours if you're a car nut, guy or gal: www.kitcarlist.com . Depending on your taste and budget, there are kits for almost anything from motorcycles, VW's etc. to exotics.

I knew that thing looked familiar! There was one of them at the Air Fest here in Chico last summer. Got so entranced by the aircraft that I didn't get a shot of it&%*@#$! Roy

When it's moving, the wheels are a blur anyway... (and that's a neat site, Curt, thanks for the link...)

Right, for ten points, Curt! And I thought Randy would have been first to guess correctly!! First of these that I've other than in a magazine. It is a larger, roomier car than the original Cobra Daytona Coupe. Pete Brock, who styled the original car, also drew up this one. While all the dimensions are different, there's no mistaking what it is. The wheels are styled to resemble the original Halibrand magnesium racing wheels. They are not exact replicas.
