Had to go for a medical exam today. Nothing very probing - they take your blood pressure, ask you a bunch of questions How many cigarettes do you smoke per day - always 20, how many units of alcohol do you you drink per week on average - always 20 (this despite the fact that they have just take a urine sample, and must know that you drank all 20 the night before!)
But I got a pleasant surprise. The nurse took my blood pressure (125/80) and asked - what are you taking for that? I told her that I thought 125/80 was OK - why should I be taking anything for it? "Only that it's the best I've seen for somebody your age for a long time, and I thought you must be taking medication to get it down to that"
So it's going to be my liver then..... LOL!!
Regards - John
