Anyone see our boy Ricky Hatton yesterday morning? He's a fellow Mancunian. By the looks of it, a good number of the Manchester population went out to Las Vegas to support him!
Not his best fight, but he had something left at the end. He's back there in June to fight the Mexican, Jose Castillo. Should be a better fight.
Blue Moon!

I don't follow it closely...but could get interested, if there were something to see. I have not seen any good boxing, or any charismatic figures in the ring in a long, long time. Seems like we're into a generation of brawlers...and I'm sorry to say my interest in that died way back on the playground.

You're probably right Ron.
Having said that, Ricky does have a touch of class - he always looks battered after his fights, but that's because he can take what the brawlers offer and comes back. The Blue Moon reference is to the music that gets played as he enters the ring. He used to be a junior for the Manchester City soccer team. Gave up for obvious reasons - we are quite proud of him. Nevertheless. He can actually box!
